Two-day

Today is an interesting junction in time:

• two weeks before Good Friday, the day Jesus died, and
• two days after the Annunciation, the day He was conceived.

As we continue through Lent, we can meditate on both the beginning and ending of Jesus’ earthly life.

We can also pray for all who are struggling to live as fully as possible, despite the dangers of euthanasia and embryonic stem cell research.

Life is precious, and should be cared for with the utmost dignity at every stage without death being accelerated.
